now that some hard ware stores are reopening their doors , i'm thinking of painting my truck's skid plate by myself. it's now showing some wear and tear and i reckon i should do it before the rains come flooding in. any tips?

April 30th, 2020 05:55 PM #10well... there's the usual surface preparation.
then there's the paint compatibility between what's on the skid plate and what's in the can. the sprayed paint may not stick well enough.
and since it's the skid plate, i suppose we won't worry too much about imperfections of the sprayed area...
overall, i say go.
good luck.
