August 3rd, 2010 02:36 PM #164Mas maganda sigurong i-define na lang:
Cleaner Wax : wax na merong cleaning properties...shortcut to cleaning then waxing (done in one step)
Pre-wax cleaner (not pre-cleaner wax) : cleaner (pang-linis)..bago ka apply ng wax (thus for the term pre-wax), para kumapit yung wax (wax in this sense are the ones na walang cleaning properties (walang abrasives)

August 3rd, 2010 04:04 PM #166Going back to your prior post..maybe here's what you have to do instead considering yung sabi ni ma'am Madkatz
1. car wash
2. claybar
4. swirlX - if you need to do some correction (remove swirls)
5. step 2 - I'm not familiar with this brand...dito papasok yung pre-wax cleaner (para malinisan na din yung oils ni SwirlX, kung pre-wax cleaner si step 2 then go...
6. final wax
gets na?

August 4th, 2010 01:33 AM #168As far as i know there's nobody here that sells Zaino, we used to import it before and tried to sell it even at marginal prices and people still find them very expensive so we stopped, right now we're also on the look out for some zaino products but we still can't find any, so i guess im stuck till december to have my next batches of their sealants

August 4th, 2010 01:35 AM #169845 is the liquid version of 476, basically its 476 in liquid and more volume but also about half the protection, its very easy to apply which makes it more popular around the world compared to collinite waxes, but collinite waxes definitely last a lot longer than 845 and yes i agree with mf051404 that 476 is very durable that you don't need to wax weekly

Cleaner wax - mild cleaner + wax
Prewax Cleaner - stronger cleaner without wax
now if your concern is removing old layers of wax then i can assure you that using both will definitely remove your old layers of wax
if your concern is reduction in your clear coat then you don't have anything to worry about
Like i said before the main difference lies with Pre-wax cleaner being a stronger cleaner but doesn't contain waxes so you definitely have to follow up with a wax, with pre-wax cleaner is also cleans your paint and leaves a layer of wax but its doesn't last as long as a pure wax
removing old layers of waxes is actually good for the paint, old layers of wax could dull the paint overtime and actually be oxidized that why its advisable to remove old layers of wax before putting a new layer on, removing old layers of wax also ensures a clean surface for the fresh wax to bond properly to the paint.
