January 9th, 2016 07:35 PM #1Hi,
I am thinking of buying an automitive touch up paint pen to cover a minor but long scratch on my bumper. Di na raw kasi kaya ng buff. Gusto ko kasi sana alisin un scratch but I'm weary of having the whole bumper painter agad. Has anyone tried one? Pros and cons? Thanks.

Touch-up paint will help make the scratch less visible, not totally eliminate it. Three important things to remember:
1. Use the exact touch-up paint color that matches your paint code
2. Make sure the surface is clean and dry
3. Apply sparingly and evenly

believe it or not, i bought one last night from Ace Hardware (Mantis yung brand). Desperate kasi ako dahil nahaguran ng bisikleta yung oto, itim pa naman kaya kitang kita, and hindi kinaya ng rubbing compound.
my initial feedback:
a. it works on small scratches on the top coat/clear coat level, but is useless kung below top coat na.
b. madali lang gamitin.... linis, isulat, wax, buff, ok na.
not sure gano katagal though, but it temporarily fixed the scratch na hindi ako pinatulog.
