.............Sometime in 1985, I sold my Ford Fiera to a guy near Ateneo/Maryknoll. The guy had a shop especializing in fiberglass and had his own tubular chassis.He was using toyota surplus engine. He is an automotive engineer- I think this is the Conge guy you are referring to.It just crossed in my mind when I was reading the thread.

Hi Rey;
Where is Tierra Purra heights?.... conge cars is owned by Binky Victa... how does the body kits looked like?... He made some Rally Cars that are configured like the starlets... but his most interesting cars are the mid engined ferrari type kit cars... their windshields and doors are from a Mitsubishi Celeste donor car. Is it still there?
I can't help notice your avatar... I also have a mini 1996 specs... but it's originally a 73.... 998 automatik. Do you race your Mini? (sorry mods... Off topic).

October 23rd, 2007 08:17 AM #4Tierra Purra is along congressional ave (after passing commonwealth ave from UP) yata... si Otep lives near that area.
I also love the mini... infact yun sana ang una kong plano na flatform size ng TSV. Plus putting a 1.3 engine on a sports car of that size will definitely make it powerful and matipid at the same time.
BTW, yung i-wheel pede ba natin paliitin na kasing size lang ng mini-cooper?Last edited by wildthing; October 23rd, 2007 at 08:19 AM.

Pwedeng pwede! kaso papalitan natin ng small "i" yung capital "I"... si wildthing magaling mag scale.
Do you have some more photos of the conge cars?... It would be nice to make a website of it for reference... it will ad to our car culture heritage. Can you get in touch with the owner?... Binky Victa?.... I still recall the first time I saw these beauties in I think the first Transhow held in PICC or was it Folk Arts?... I really love the mid-engined low ride conge... it has a distinct appeal... I also enjoyed sitting inside it... it's really spacious enough for long legged people. I hope we can see some photos of that one. I am not fond of the rally conges - I am more interested in the street versions....
more power!

When I was in the Conge shop, I believe they were fabricating a street car, very low and yes it resembles the Ferrari and all fiberglass body- very nice! ya, I remember now, Victa is the name....................................yes, my mini is a 96 Mini Cooper, 1300 SPI. I dont race but sometimes have to relieve my itching right foot
( sorry too for the OT)
