what's the true purpose of this PHuv ba, to be sold commercially or to show the world that we Filipinos can create our own car.
if it's the latter, bakit mas malaki pa pondo ng malaki leather shoes sa marikina (more than 2M ata inubos dun) compared to this

What ^ he said. Somehow, the design principles of this phuv makes me doubt they really took advantage of some of the better students of ID in the country. Parang pinroject lang ng high school ito. If they were going with molded panels (interior/exterior) I am SURE there could have been a better design for the same costs. When these plastic panels are mass produced, they get much much cheaper. I know some bodykit makers who have kits produced in mexico and china for less than $400 for front AND back. That's less than P25,000 for the bumpers and rear panels. I know the Tsikot guys can do better than this. Think out of the box people. I think these mvpmap guys just decided to bolt together parts and hoped for the best. Mali yun. From the ground up dapat, design the parts and quote it out for mass production. I have a feeling that P350,000 - P400,000 retail ay sobra na ang patong.

car prototypes are suppose to be more expensive than the final commercial product. sa volume na lang ng mass production mababaan. d'ba that's how bizmen think
baka ni-limit lang talaga nila sa 350k, pinagkasya. although ok lang kasi truthful naman sila to spending only 300-350k and it shows with the final product.
hindi kasi ganun ang way of the world eh, usually yun inventor or entrepreneur halos ubusin ang kabuhayan niya to spend on something that he believes in. even if his invention will only cost P100-P1k SRP per piece.
the final product alone will help encourage or motivate or involve new players with new ideas. hardly doubt that this PHuV will inspire the younger gen.

If it's all brand new, for me 350K-400K is good enough and sana maganda din ang after sales service nila. sayang, kung nasa pinas ako pupuntahan ko talaga yan sa the fort to see it in the flesh. sana mag-click yan to add vigor to our local motor industry. peace!
