We've been having treads on history of Phiippine automotive assebly, owner-type jeepneys, etc.

Im kinda curious about the history of Automotive airconditioning in the Philippines.

I still remember the days of Centrota for instance... What happened to them? I dont see them around anymore. What kind of compressor did they use...

Then there were the Reynaldo's Marketing guys, who were the philippine pioneers of Alluminum coils (vs. copper coils), I think, at least they popularized it with their newspaper ads...

Then they seemed to have disappeared when Sanden went into the country, but their gone now too...

anyway, Does anyone have any significant recollection on this subject? Thanks
