amoy suka (vinegar)?
don't use lysol.... pag nakulob, lalong babaho.
try to use the vent out settings muna and observe... dahil those kind of smell are fungus growth..
try din muna to change your cabin filter.
yung AC internals are only cleaned if extreme na yung reasons.
and you need to dismantle the entire cabin/dashboard to reach this, imho.

I've tried this with our innova and yes it did eliminated the bad odor but there's another problem not directly connected sa mabahong air con.
What could be the problem kaya?

June 27th, 2013 03:35 PM #4What you are encountering is due to the fact that your A/C evaporator is made of aluminum and not bacticidal like copper condensers of old. In cases wherein the air drawn into the cooling coil has either food, or anything organic, once it gets deposited on the surface, bacteria thrives on it.
Open your A/C, spray Lysol generously underneath the dash on both sides. And I mean generously. If the contamination is only on the surface, this will get rid of the smell.
Watch your eyes and don't breathe in the exhaust on the vents while spraying.
If the contamination is substantial you will need to bring the thing down and clean it. Wouldn't hurt to do the same on fabric surfaces as well.
The quick solution there has nothing to do with the radiator. ayliasabelle, some subtlety please, you're making that company look less credible with every post.
