    Itong TE71 ay delikado sa na mag over heat. dati kasi hindi natitinag ang water temp gage pero now medyo nagsisimula ng tumaas.

    Nag flush na ako ng radiator at gumamit ng coolant. same effect.

    Assume ko na thermostat. ng binuksan, wala pala. nagpalit na ako ng water hose sa baba ng radiator, ganoon pa rin.

    Sa tingin ko ay ok pa ang radiator, so pinaka suspect ko ay ang water pump. Tama ba ang hinala ko? Kung may mabibili, mga 1,000 something ang weter pump. ewan pa kung magkano palinis ng radiator.

    dati nga pala ay nagbabawas ng tubig. pero ng palitan ko ang rad cap. ok na. halos hindi nagbabawas na.

    meyo malabo kung water pump kasi didiresto over heat na yung oto and not just above normal.

    how about the thermo switch? gaano katagal andar fan? usually, how high does the temp gauge read? fluctuating ba yung temp or steady high temp lang?

    kung water pump ang nagiging sira lang niyan ay sira na ang oring kay nagbabawas ka ng tubig at meron kang makikitang lumalabas na tubug sa weep hole sa water pump. subukan mo munang pa overhaul ang radiator, susundutin ang mga daan ng tubig baka barado na. palagyan mo na rin ng thermostat.

    old school car, hindi de-motor ang rad fan. diretso sa crankshaft I think.

    hindi naman ang babawas ng tubig. dati nag babawas pero ng palitan ko ang rad cap, naging ok na.

    kita ko naman na umiikot naman ang tubig pero am not sure kung gaano kadami dapat ng tubig na naipump papunta sa radiator. I think kung barado ang radiator ay aapaw ang coolant.

    re. thermostat, I think pahirapan ng makakita nito.

    any way, mga magkano ang palinis ng radiator?

    usually, nilalagyan ng silicon oil yung ganyang klase ng radiator fan. baka kasi dried up na. paikutin mo sir yun rad fan by hand
    (engine off)pag walang restriction, time for silicon oil fill up.

    pwede mo rin try with engine running. pag rev up eh bibilis din dapat yung rad fan speed.

    i suggest pa-overhaul mo yung radiator baka marami na bara. had the same problem with my corolla before. pinatanggal ko yung termostat para ikot kaagad ang tubig kahit malamig pa makina pero overheat pa rin. problem solved after radiator overhaul.

    Also check the following, if there is an aircon condenser check for possible blockage, check also the clutch fan if equipped (add silicone oil), Although water pump impeller seldom gets too rusted, it is also a possibility. Another is the fan shroud (it could be broken or missing parts), Fan Belt Slipping is another one. Better also check the temperature gauge itself, if it is telling an accurate temperature. It could also be a mistime engine which would produce more heat. And finally the radiator itself. It could be partially clogged.
