stock engine. i think the compressor has finally conked out.
dami kasi naglilitawang JDM surplus parts e...ok kya if i find a JDM compressor? will it cool better? will it even fit into the damn engine (ph15 a/t)?
else surplus non-JDM na lang kya? anything i have to look out for? i really can't afford brand new, even the cut rate crap honda sometimes offers as "alternatives" (almost 10T...oem orig nasa 20T something).

Sakin nagkasya kanina kaso for PH16 nga lang. pesteng A/c compressor yan!
Medyo OT: sa lahat ng auto na nagamit ko after a/c maitenance or repair, parang nabawasan un acceleration. After few days, balik sa dati. or guniguni ko lang un?! Wierd talaga. ..

I used to own a 96 Civic VTi.

ineedmorehelp: baka masikip kasi yung belt ng compressor at first, adding the load sa crankshaft pulley, tapos luluwag konti after usage.

went to mang mario kanina...turns out it wasn't the compressor (thank you God!).
according to mr. mario, compressors have little to do with cooling power...it's more the function of the evaporator (the radiator thingy behind the glove box). JDM evaporators provide an additional 25% cooling DAW.

If you like you can buy a JDM evaporator. Mas malaki daw cooling capacity nya compared sa local. May nagbebenta nun sa HCP. Dami na din magandang reviews.

iba kasi yung aluminum quality ng imported evaporators... the size is similar, but how fast it dissipates the freon's coolness makes the diff... yan din sikreto ng nissan AC, most people think its the Calsonic compressor, but it's not.
