Teka teka, kelan mo ba naamoy yung mabahong singaw? Kung sa pag-start lang ng kotse after a day or so without use, at nawawala rin eventually, tirang lamig lang iyan.

February 15th, 2013 06:57 PM #9You may have left something aromatic such as food inside the car.
The problem with contemporary A/C's is the fact that their major heat transfer components, i.e. evaporator and condenser, are made of aluminum.
Aluminum doesn't have bacteriostatic properties like the copper/brass evaporators of old.
The evaporator is more relevant at this stage though, so normally if it isn't so severe, turn on your AC and then spray lysol under your dash for a few seconds. This will allow the lysol to come into contact with the cooling coil's fins and disinfect it. Once enough bacteria is killed you should smell less of offensive odors.
If this doesn't work, there's a good chance something died in there and would need to be cleaned more thoroughly.
Freshen the rest of your car's interior especially fabric surfaces.
