January 10th, 2011 02:36 PM #1Good day guys!
My dad's Nissan Frontier T2 pick-up started doing weird noises a couple of months ago.. Parang "baka" (cow) na umuungol.. Parang "Moooooooooooooooooo" na mga 5-10 seconds ang tagal.. Nakakahiya kase anlakas ng tunog.. You can hear it even from mga 3meters away from the vehicle.. It does this everytime na mag automatic na mag-off yung aircon/compressor..
All they could do was general cleaning..
any of you guys experienced this problem? baka pwede hingi advice..
TIA and God bless!

noise is not too difficult to diagnose once you can localize the source and what comparable type of noise is being heard. the probable sources of noise are condenser fan, compressor, idler pulley, blower motor, radiator fan motor (the radiator fan motor runs simultaneously with the condenser fan motor when the a/c is in operation). first, determine if the noise is interior or outside - you probably know, but we don't. the compressor clutch makes noise when engagement is not sufficient. other than that, just pretend you are a rancher with a herd
