    Bakit yung mobilio ng friend ko meron crustiness sa dulo ng radiator hoses. Para sya composite filling sa dentist. Mukhang cemento madali matangal. Wala overheat pero bakit nagbuildup ng crust sa end ng hose. Coolant nakalagay yung yellow pagkabili nya brand new pero wala naman mabili ganun color sa honda.

    Sa akin civic distilled water wala crustiness.

    It's likely weeping. Change the hose.

    hindi pa daw napapalitan coolant simula pagkabili brand new. Tiningnan ko as in kulay dilaw talaga. Year 2016 binili nasa 30,000kms.


    travahans,
    dalawang hose ganun may buildup ng crust sa dulo. Doon ata nagleleak.

    Blue ang color ng type 2 coolant tapos green ang color ng type 1. Malamang naging dilaw kasi napaghalo na sila.

    Afaik compatible naman ang dalawang coolant. Iyon nga lang, type 1 coolant will shorten the life and negate the good effects of the type 2 rad fluid. Kaya better to stick to type 2 coolants for those models released after 2005.

    And pag may crustiness means may escape ng fluid doon. Nag harden na iyong nag evaporate na coolant.

    dried coolant.
    his hoses are leaking slowly.
    replace hose and/or tighten clamps.

    toyota vios had this problem, malutong na *200k km yung thermostat hehehe
    sa altis naman * 60k km yun malapit sa rad cap ang nagtutong
