March 19th, 2009 07:46 AM #1Hi!
'92 honda civic eg hatchback D15b engine.
I have a problem with my aircon compressor. When my aircon compressor engages, i feel like i am suddenly being pulled back. Hirap na mag accelerate but then it disengages, para namang biglang lumalakas ang hatak. This is very very noticable and irritating.
Any ideas why my compressor is like this?
Thanks!

Does the rubber belt show signs of excessive wear (you might have to remove it to check)? If it does, your compressor is the cause. It could be a stuck up bearing or similar.

toyota corolla ni misis at one time pag on ng a/c, namamatay yung makina. turned out to be a stuck compressor, as if ayaw umikot nung compressor mismo.
baka ito yung prob mo... hirap na i-drive ng makina yung compressor... better have it checked. orig thermostat ka ba or converted? if converted, naka time-cycle lang ang andar ng auto switch nun, kaya nagdedeploy sya at the oddest possible time (kahit hard acceleration). yung orig thermostat switch hindi nagdedeploy pag humahataw ng malakas kaya very seamless yun.

March 28th, 2009 05:29 PM #5ito rin problem ko ngayon, biglang tumatalon ang rpm. Kapag stop and go traffic medyo malaki ang ginagawa kong distance sa harap kasi biglang umaarangkada. I hope sa idle up adjustment lang ma solve ito.
