Mga sir need help po, my ride is isuzu bighorn problem q pag high speed lets said at speed of 100km/h parang ndi na malamig ang buga ng aircon q unlike pag mabagal lng or kahit naka stop. diba dapat pag high speed mas lumalamig ang aircon kasi mas malakas ang hangin na dumadaan sa condeser, bakti sa akin baliktad nahihilaw ang lamig pag high speed na takbo q.
tnx

When I say vacuum leak means relate to your A/C hoses that is most under the dash. Bring your car to any specialized A/C shop to check where that leak is or you could do it yourself by putting colorized A/C leak detector into your system (usually purple color) and locate the purple color where its leaking. Remedyo....well need to replaced what is broken.

April 30th, 2008 06:52 PM #8Possible na nag high pressure nga. Nag didisengage yung compressor mo pag mataas ang rev mo. Pero not sure kung expansion valve ba ang kailangan palitan dyan...

April 30th, 2008 10:43 PM #9during high speed, condensers are cooled by the air coming in the engine bay.. possible you have high pressure due to high rev engine during high speed.. check this by revving your engine while at stop make a steady rev at around 2000rpm and check if the aircon cooling disappears.. possible you have a problem on the pressure switch attached to the filter drier.. if there is leak in your system, you will have no cooling at all even on low or high speed..
you may also have a problem with your expansion valves!! expansion valves main function is to create pressure in the system, when the right pressure is achieved it will release the freon to the cooling coil, absorbing the heat, thus giving you cooler air...(that is why you will hear a hissing sound during the first engage of the compressor) it is possible that when you are at high speed, high rev, the compressor pumping too much, the expansion valves cannot hold the pressure thus releasing the freon prematurely making your cooling "hilaw" or not sufficient..
