    Guys, ano kaya problem kpag switch-on ang A/C bumababa ang rpm, set sya ng mechanic ng 1.2 kpag idle para pg switch ng A/C, bagsak sya ng 0.8 at least d nmamatay engine. kpag set ko idle nya s 0.9 (eto rw ang normal), kpag ON ko A/C bagsak ang rpm s 0.6 , nanginginig n yung engine.. as per the previous thread n nabasa ko d2, seem to be a servo problem pero yung problem nila is erratic or masyadong mataas ang rpm (1.5-1.8) unlike nung s akin n steady nmn sya, ndi erratic. baguhan lng me s sasakyan, kbibli ko lng, tapos yon my sira pala.. lancer, gli, 96model. advise nmn dyan,.. also, s umaga, ang baba ng rpm ko, start lang sya s 0.6 so hntay p ko ng 5-10mins para lng tumaas rpm, normal lang b yn? tnx

    ako naman e tumataas ang rpm pag naka on ang a/c. ano ba ang normal?

    Normal lang yan bro, its' job is to compensate the power of the engine, para di ka mamatayan, mahirapan o mag-stall yung makina. (Always remember that when the a/c is on, it reduces engine power & torque). Kung tumataas idle habang bukas ang a/c, then dun mo na ipa-check.

    When a/c is on, normal idle would be around 850-900rpm.

    sira idle up/vacuum switch niyan or may singaw ang air hose. yun vacuum switch ma activate ng voltage from your aircon compressor. yun air para sa vacuum switch mo galing sa intake manifold. then pag on yun (aircon on) may another thingie that pulls (or pushes) the throttle para tumaas idle mo when activated yun compressor. dapat idle without aircon around 700 rpm, pag on aircon (compressor) 700-750rpm.

    Sir afrasay may tama ka. Ganyan nangyari sa ride ko nasira ang vacuum switch kaya pag naka- aircon bumababa ang rpm.

    thanks guys for the inputs.. baka nga servo sira nito... pina convert ko n nga lang sya ng idle-up kac cheaper compared to servo,, so far OK nmn sya.

    guys..pwede din kaya na gamitin as a replacement ito sa ford lynx 2001? sabi kc ng mechanic yung servo/IACV and sira niya. Pag umaga hirap mag start at pag naka on a/c, ang baba ng rmp (mga 100-200) at kung minsan, namamatay pa. Mahal daw kasi ang servo (mga 25k) so I am thinking of a replacement instead. tia...

    pede naman yan basta may pagkuhanan ka ng vacuum air and power from the line na mag activate ng compressor. of course you also need to mount the vacuum thiingie that would push or pull your throttle to increase the rpm.

    pero need mo din patayin yun sensor ng servo (if mayrun) kasi baka makita ng computer at umilaw CEL sa dash.
