January 12th, 2006 05:21 PM #1Hi guys,
I'm new sa thread and I just want to ask for your opinion. I just recently bought and installed a new Sanden R134a compressor (di ko maalala model)
to replace my old R12 and I noticed the following:
When I turn off the aircon, may parang nagkikiskisang bakal after mga 2 seconds, then mawawala. I tried tracing the source and asked my brother to turn off the aircon while I observed the engine area, napansin ko na pag-off ng compressor, the black part sa harap (yung may mga metal part na umiikot) eh parang nagbra-brake, thus causing the "ee-ee" sound. I realized then na naririnig ko rin ito pag-nag-automatic aircon while driving, di ko lang pansin dahil parang spilt second lang naman. Is this normal? Also, parang nagva-vibrate din yung bakal/brace kung saan nakakabit yung compressor, which hindi naman nangyayari nung nakakabit yung dati. The compressor is under warranty naman sa shop where I had it installed and replaceable pa pero gusto ko lang masiguro kung factory defect ito since its brand new.
Any input is very much appreciated. Thanks!

First of all, sayang you didn't need to replace the compressor at all. Sana you still have your old one para mabenta mo... Anyway, search mo nalang yung R134 conversion thread.
