Mga sirs
Question lang regarding Aircon/Radiator problem
So sa unang 15mins run, okey yung aircon but after that yung buga nia is wala ng lamig tapos tumataas yung temp gauge sa dashboard. so pinapatay ko yung aircon.
San kaya pwede ipaayos to?
Thanks in advance.

July 17th, 2016 11:38 AM #3Kung nauubos ang coolant baka may leak ang rad mo sir. Have it tested baka minimal fee lang yan.

July 17th, 2016 11:53 AM #4my guess? your aux fan is defective. it might not be turning as fast as it should. that is why, it seems to be working ok when you look at it. hindi na malamig aircon, overheat pa engine. when the engine overheats, the steam escapes to the coolant reservoir, heating it so that it also turns to steam. ubos radiator coolant, ubos reservoir coolant.
look for the same model vehicle as yours, and observe how strong the air movement should be.
good luck.Last edited by dr. d; July 17th, 2016 at 11:55 AM.

your air conditioner or climate control is affected by all of the following:
1 ambient air temperature
2 engine cooling system temperature
3 engine speed
4 powertrain control module
5 the compressor drive belt
6 refrigerant purity/type and pressure
7 system component condition (e.g., your compressor, thermostatic expansion valve, etc. etc)
8 air flow across the condenser
9 air flow across the evaporator.
assuming everything else is normal, since you have coolant loss and of course beyond any reasonable doubt, will be overheating. if the engine temperature is high, the a/c system will not work by design. if the coolant temperature sensor mimics or simulates an overheat condition, the a/c system will not be enabled.

July 17th, 2016 04:50 PM #7Kung sa rad cap lang duda mo. Bumili ka lang ng replacement nyan. Patungkol sa aircon naman. Paano mo nasabi mag high discharge at mag cut off yun compressor mo?

What's the mileage and age of your Avanza?
Do you see any residue of where the coolang is seeping out? Check your radiator cap and coolant reservoir.
Things to check first:
Auxilary fan
Radiator cap (always replace with original or Denso brand)
Water pump
Radiator hoses (clamps)
